Bio:
Dr. Vik Bakhru is a practicing physician and senior health care executive. He currently serves as President & CEO of Single Thread Health, an AI-enabled, digital first management services organization platform for value-based care and innovative care delivery models. Previously, he served as President & CEO of Innovista Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of Health Care Service Corporation (BCBS IL, MT, NM, OK, TX). Innovista is a management services organization that enables independent physicians to engage, support and manage populations in new value-based savings and shared-risk models. Prior to Innovista, Vik served as Chief Health Officer for Circulo Health, a regional Medicaid managed care organization providing tech-enabled, world-class care to the nation’s most underserved. He is Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children. Vik holds a B.A. in Economics/B.S. in Biology from The Columbian College of Arts & Sciences of The George Washington University, an M.D. from The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
