Bio:

Yara is a Senior Business Consultant at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Community Health Plan of Maryland where she leads strategic initiatives that address social drivers of health for Medicaid members. Since 2017, she has developed and managed programs across the Pennsylvania and Maryland Medicaid markets, leveraging her public health training to drive data-driven interventions that address disparities. In her current role, she spearheads the CareFirst Medicaid Maternity Strategy, integrating solutions and processes to support members’ individual pregnancy journeys.
